Connect Google Analytics and Search Console

Connect Google Analytics or Google Search Console from the KrabiClaw dashboard. Each service has its own connection and property selection, even when both use the same Google account.

Sign in to KrabiClaw, select the right business and open Menu → Integrations.

For Google Analytics, use an account with access to the GA4 property you want to connect. That property needs a web data stream. For Search Console, use an account with access to the property, or connect your KrabiClaw website's own address through the verification option.

Signing in to KrabiClaw with Google does not by itself select an Analytics or Search Console property for your business.

1. Open Google Analytics.
2. Select Connect Google Analytics. If an eligible linked account is already listed, select it in Google account, or choose Link another Google account.
3. Complete Google's account and consent flow. Review the requested Analytics access.
4. Back in KrabiClaw, check the selected Google account.
5. Under Analytics property, choose the GA4 property for this website.
6. Select Save.
7. Check that the connection shows the property name and a connection date.

KrabiClaw reads the selected property's web data stream to obtain its measurement ID. You do not need to copy and paste that ID into this connection screen.

The Analytics connection requests read-only access to Google Analytics. Choosing a property also configures your KrabiClaw website to use that property's measurement ID for tracking. Read-only Google account access does not mean the website's tracking configuration is unchanged.

Google authorization requests offline access so the connection can continue working without requiring you to sign in every time.

1. Return to Integrations and open Google Search Console.
2. Select Connect Google Search Console. If an eligible linked account is already listed, choose it in Google account, or use Link another Google account.
3. Complete Google's consent flow. This service requests Search Console and site-verification access, so it can ask for additional permissions even if you already connected Analytics.
4. Back in KrabiClaw, choose a Property.
5. If your KrabiClaw website's address appears with (verify for me), select it to have KrabiClaw attempt verification. Otherwise, choose an existing property that your account can access.
6. Select Connect property.
7. Check that the connection shows the correct property URL and a connection date.

For the verify for me option, KrabiClaw serves a verification tag on your website and asks Google to verify it. This automatic path applies only to this KrabiClaw website's own address. For another address, add the property in Search Console first and then select it here.

Search Console requests access to manage Search Console sites and site verification. These permissions are broader than Analytics read-only access. Review Google's consent screen before continuing.

Open the service and select Change property. Choose the replacement, then select Save for Analytics or Connect property for Search Console. Use Keep current to leave the existing selection unchanged.

To remove one service's connection, open More actions → Disconnect. Disconnecting the service removes its business selection; it does not revoke your Google authorization or unlink the Google account. Disconnecting Analytics also removes the website tracking configuration managed by this integration.

• No GA4 properties: check that you selected a Google account with access to the property you need. The screen reports when that account has no GA4 properties.
• No web data stream: choose a property with a web data stream, or set up the stream in Google Analytics before trying again.
• Google did not finish connecting: restart the connection and complete the account and consent steps.
• Search Console verification failed: check that the selected address is your live KrabiClaw website and review the error. KrabiClaw cannot automatically verify an unrelated address.
• The wrong account is listed: use Link another Google account, then select the correct account and property.

Open Integrations → Google Maps and select a location. That workflow imports Google Maps place details into KrabiClaw and requires Growth. It does not use this Analytics or Search Console property connection, and it does not edit your external Google listing.
