Get the latest KrabiClaw tools in ChatGPT

Reinstall KrabiClaw during the plugin approval period, start a new ChatGPT conversation, and check the latest tools and business access.

If ChatGPT is missing newly added KrabiClaw tools, reinstall the plugin and start a completely new chat. This guide shows the current workaround during the plugin approval period.

In the flow tested in September 2026, Refresh tools alone did not load the updated tool catalog. The steps below follow that tested interface; labels and availability may differ by account or change as the rollout progresses.

Before you start

Use the same ChatGPT account throughout. Have a desktop or tablet browser available for reinstallation: the mobile app shown in this guide has no Add or + control for this personal-plugin workflow.

The illustrations are recreated from the supplied screens. In this example, KrabiClaw appears under Plugins → Personal → Created by you. Confirm that you can find your KrabiClaw listing or have the installation route provided to you before uninstalling. Other accounts may show a different listing.

1 Open KrabiClaw in your added plugins

In the ChatGPT mobile app, open Plugins. Under Added, select KrabiClaw.

2 Uninstall the current plugin

On the KrabiClaw detail screen, open the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner and choose Uninstall.

3 Reinstall in a desktop or tablet browser

Open ChatGPT in a desktop or tablet browser and check that you are using the same account. Go to Plugins → Personal and find KrabiClaw.

Select the + button next to KrabiClaw to install it again.

Wait for the KrabiClaw plugin installed confirmation before continuing. If ChatGPT asks you to sign in, complete the connection flow for your intended KrabiClaw account.

4 Start a completely new chat

Choose New chat, then select @KrabiClaw in the new conversation. Do this after reinstalling; an existing conversation may still have the previous toolset.

5 Check that the tools and your business are available

Ask: “Which KrabiClaw tools are available in this chat?” If you are looking for a particular new tool, name it and ask whether it is available before trying to use it.

Then ask: “Which businesses can I manage with KrabiClaw?” Name your business and ask to see its recent posts. These are read-only checks that do not publish or change content.

If you manage several businesses, name the one you want before asking for a change. Before publishing to Facebook or Instagram, ask KrabiClaw to show the connected accounts and choose the exact destination.

If something still looks wrong

  • The new tools are still missing: Check that installation finished, then confirm you are in a completely new chat with KrabiClaw selected. Note the missing tool or action and ask KrabiClaw support to check which catalog is available to your account.
  • KrabiClaw is not in Personal, or there is no + button: Check the ChatGPT account you are signed into and use the installation route provided to you. The Personal listing shown here may not be available to every account. On the mobile app shown here, use a desktop or tablet browser for this step.
  • The tools are available but your business is missing: Check the KrabiClaw account used for the connection. Tool availability and business access are separate checks.

This is an approval-period workaround documented in September 2026. It is not a guarantee that every future update will require reinstallation.
