Your payout timing depends on when your payment becomes available, your payout schedule and your bank’s processing time. You can check upcoming and completed payouts in Earnings.
Check when your payout will arrive
- Choose your business in the dashboard.
- Open Earnings and look under Upcoming or Paid.
- Choose View all paid to open the full payout list.
- Open a payout to see its amount, status, arrival date, bank account and payout ID.
The arrival date is the date Stripe expects the payout to reach your bank. Your bank can take additional time to make the deposit available. Keep the payout ID if you need help locating it.
A payout can contain more than one customer payment. Its details show the payments Stripe associated with it, when available.
Your first payout
A first live payout can take longer than later payouts. Stripe typically schedules it to complete within 7–14 days after the first successful live payment, with timing affected by the business and its account review. Check the date on your own payout rather than treating this range as a guaranteed deadline.
Complete any outstanding Stripe setup or verification requests. Open Payments → Payouts and use Continue Stripe setup if the dashboard asks you to provide more information.
Your payout schedule
A customer payment first needs to become available in your Stripe balance. Your payout schedule then determines when available funds are sent.
- Daily: Available funds are sent on the account’s daily schedule.
- Weekly: Available funds are sent on its weekly schedule.
- Monthly: Available funds are sent on its monthly schedule.
- Manual: Funds are sent when a payout is requested through Stripe.
A more frequent schedule does not shorten the time it takes a payment to clear. Krabiclaw uses your connected account’s payout timing, beginning from payment processing rather than the date of a booking or service.
What the payout status means
- Expected: The payout is pending.
- On its way: Stripe has started sending it.
- Sent: Stripe reports the payout as paid.
- Failed: The bank could not receive the payout.
- Cancelled: The payout was canceled.
The status and arrival date should be read together. A status of Sent does not override a bank’s own posting time.
Weekends and holidays
Bank processing and settlement can take longer around weekends and public holidays. A payment received immediately before a non-business day may not follow the same calendar timing as one received earlier in the week.
Paused or failed payouts
Stripe can pause payouts while account information is missing or under review, or because of account restrictions or reserves. Open Stripe Express from Payments → Payouts → Edit and review its outstanding tasks. Follow the specific request shown there.
For a failed payout, check the failure information in Stripe Express and confirm that the bank account is correct and still accepts deposits. Returned funds can take several business days to reappear in the Stripe balance.
If your payout has not arrived
Check the payout’s expected date, status and bank account. If it is past the expected date, ask the receiving bank to locate the deposit using the date, amount and payer name, Stripe. If the bank cannot locate it, open Krabiclaw support with the payout ID.
