Use your connected AI assistant to add dishes, change prices or organize a menu on your existing KrabiClaw website. Name the business and location, supply the actual menu facts, and review the proposed changes before requesting a save.
Before you start, connect KrabiClaw and check that your account can edit the selected business. If the assistant cannot see the current menu tools, refresh its tool list.
1. Read the current menu
Ask the assistant to resolve the business with get_workspace_context and list_organizations, then choose the exact location from list_locations. It reads all relevant pages of list_location_products and list_collections before matching dishes and sections. get_product provides existing variant and price IDs.
Name the location even if the business has only one. Existing IDs preserve the identity of dishes, prices and sections; matching by a guessed name can create a duplicate.
2. State the changes
Supply the dish names, descriptions, sections and prices you intend to publish. Give the currency and distinguish sizes or other priced choices from descriptive facts. Do not ask the assistant to invent prices, ingredients, dietary claims or allergens.
Ask it to show the changes in chat before saving. Menu edits are public when saved; they do not pass through a private menu draft.
3. Save the requested menu edits
The assistant uses update_menu for the selected location with a stable operation key. The tool updates and publishes the supplied dishes, prices and sections. Omitted dishes, variants, prices and display order remain; new dishes and sections append in the order you supplied.
For a partial price change it supplies the current product, variant and price IDs. Tool amounts use the currency’s smallest unit; you can state a normal customer price in chat and review the conversion before saving. A repeated identical request uses the same key.
A complete new order is a separate request. set_collection_products replaces a section’s membership and order, so it must include every dish you want to retain. reorder_collections requires the complete section order. Do not use a replacement operation when you only want to edit one dish.
4. Check what guests see
Read the changed dishes and location menu again, then open the returned public menu URL. Check prices, currency, variants, section membership and order. A successful tool response still needs that public check.
If a write conflicts or fails, read the current menu before retrying. If an identical request timed out, reuse its key instead of creating the same dishes again. Report a missing public URL or failed check clearly.

Review a price change first
For my business at the Downtown location, read the current menu and find the existing Margherita pizza and its price variants. Show me a proposal to change only the standard size to THB 290. Keep the description, other sizes, all other dishes and menu order unchanged. Do not save until I ask.
