Connect KrabiClaw to Claude

Connect KrabiClaw to Claude to read your business information and make supported updates to your site from a Claude conversation. The connection works in Claude on the web, the desktop and mobile apps, and Claude Code. Create your first site in the KrabiClaw dashboard before using the connection to edit it.

You need a KrabiClaw account with access to the business you want to manage.

Add the connector in Claude

In Claude on the web or the desktop app, open Customize, then Connectors.
Select Add, then Add custom connector.
Enter KrabiClaw as the name and https://krabiclaw.com/api/mcp as the MCP server URL, then select Continue.

Use the exact server URL. Do not substitute your business's public website domain.

Claude checks the server and shows its sign-in settings. Keep Sign in now and Use Claude's published identity, then select Add.

If you don't see Add custom connector, your Claude organization may limit who can add connectors. Ask its Owner to add KrabiClaw.

On the KrabiClaw connector page, select Connect. Sign in to the KrabiClaw account that has access to your business and review the requested access before approving it.

Only connect a server you trust. The connection can make real changes to content your account is authorized to manage.

Choose tool permissions

After you connect, the connector page lists KrabiClaw's tools in two groups: Read-only tools and Write/delete tools. Choose when Claude may use each group. Needs approval asks you before each use; Always allow lets Claude use the tools without asking.

Keep Needs approval for write/delete tools while you get used to the connection. Each approval prompt names the tool Claude wants to use.

Use KrabiClaw in Claude Code

Add the server from a terminal, then sign in from Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http krabiclaw https://krabiclaw.com/api/mcp

In Claude Code, run /mcp, select krabiclaw and complete the KrabiClaw sign-in in your browser.

Check the connection without changing anything

Start a new chat and ask these separately:

“Which KrabiClaw tools are available in this chat?”
“Which businesses can I manage with KrabiClaw?”
“Show me the current pages for [my business]. Do not change anything.”

The first checks the loaded tools. The next two check access to your account and business. Seeing tools does not prove that the correct business is connected.

If you manage several businesses, choose one explicitly before making any edits.

Troubleshooting

Claude cannot connect

Check the exact URL, HTTPS and accidental spaces. Confirm that you completed the KrabiClaw sign-in with the account that has access to your business.

New KrabiClaw tools are missing

Open the KrabiClaw connector page in Claude, select Disconnect, then Connect again, and start a new chat.

The tools appear, but my business is missing

Check which KrabiClaw account authorized the connection and whether your team invitation has been accepted. Business access and tool availability are separate checks.
